The dictionary defines creativity as the ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships, or the like, and to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations, etc.; originality, progressiveness, or imagination.

Lets face it, our world has more problems than anyone would like to admit. Fortunately for us all, there exists some amazing people in this world that have harnessed the power of creativity to begin to solve some of these problems. For example, Blake Mycoskie of TOMS is helping children without shoes to get soles for their feet. Lauren Bush of FEED Projects is helping to provide the basic necessity of food to millions across the globe. And Matt Flannery of KIVA is helping the impoverished through microloans and entrepreneurship.

These are just three examples of how individuals can change the world by being creative. They have all figured out ways to organize and mobilize communities around a cause and make a difference.

LittleDaVinci was created to inspire the world's children to become more creative. We do not solve individual problems like the people mentioned earlier, but we hope to inspire the billions of children around the globe to become more creative early in life, so one day they will find ways to make a difference. Every child has the potential to change the world, regardless of their race, religion, socioeconomic standing, or nationality.
